The Bleeding Heart Magic Healing Biomaterial Jacket is a one of a kind wearable artwork, handcrafted from an experimental living biomaterial developed through magical infusions of rose petals, rosemary, jasmine flowers, seaweed and healing barks, embedded with foraged botanicals and regenerative hemp fibres.
Inspired by the quiet wisdom of plants, the material is infused with crushed selenite crystal and carefully chosen botanicals traditionally associated with calm, protection and emotional grounding. Every petal, flower and botanical inclusion has been lovingly foraged or thoughtfully gathered, allowing each texture, imprint and colour variation to become a memory of the landscape from which it came.
The detachable sculptural bioflower collar is handcrafted from hemp fibres and thistles, transforming the silhouette from soft to wild. Hemp fibres harvested at Contemporary Hempery in Suffolk are woven throughout the piece, connecting regenerative agriculture with ritual, biomaterial innovation and craft.
Created as an ode to both sea and land, this jacket celebrates transformation, resilience and our relationship with the natural world. It is designed not simply to be worn, but to be lived with, a piece that evolves gently over time alongside its wearer.
This is the only piece of its kind. No two biomaterial works can ever be recreated in exactly the same way.

The jacket has an adjustable fit and is best suited to approximately UK sizes 6–12. The models pictured wear a UK size xs.
Care
This garment is made from an experimental plant-based biomaterial and is intended to be cared for as a living artwork.
It does not require washing and should not be machine washed or hand washed. Store it in a cool, dry place away from prolonged humidity. Like many natural materials, it gently responds to its surroundings. In warmer temperatures or prolonged sunlight, the biomaterial may become slightly firmer or crisp to the touch before naturally softening again as it cools. These subtle changes are part of the material’s evolving life and are embraced as part of its unique beauty.
The jacket may be worn outdoors and in sunshine, but it is not fully waterproof and should not be exposed to prolonged wet weather. With time, the material will continue to develop its own character, making every stage of its life part of the artwork itself.
